Windows

Fixed Window

Fixed windows are a great choice for architects and designers due to their versatility. These windows are available in different shapes and sizes and can be combined with openable windows and doors to create a cohesive look. Also known as picture windows, they are stationary and provide unobstructed views of the outdoors.

Fixed windows are typically installed in areas where ventilation is less important, such as high on walls or in restricted spaces. They enhance the aesthetics of the space with their clean lines and expansive views, allowing natural light to flood in.

Sliding Window

Sliding windows boast of a sleek, modern design that complements contemporary architecture, making them an excellent option for various applications. The horizontal sliding mechanism of these windows makes them particularly suitable for spaces with limited room while being both practical and visually pleasing.

Sliding windows are available in different configurations, ranging from single to triple sash, to cater to various design requirements. The use of double glazing enhances sound and thermal insulation, making them even more practical. Notably, sliding windows promote good ventilation and improve indoor airflow.

Awning Window

The Awning window is a type of window that is hinged at the top and is suitable for both residential and commercial spaces. This design allows the window to open outward from the bottom, which provides excellent ventilation while keeping rainwater out.

This type of window is particularly useful in areas that experience frequent rainfall as it can remain open during light showers without affecting interior comfort. Awning windows are popular in both residential and commercial settings, such as houses, apartments or shops, due to their practicality and ability to create a comfortable environment by optimizing air circulation.

Casement Window

Casement windows are a type of window that feature hinged sashes that can be opened outward by using a crank or handle. They can also be designed as double-sash windows, which means both the left and right sides can be opened to control ventilation and airflow.

Casement windows are classified into two types: external casement windows and internal casement windows. External casement windows are space-saving, while internal ones are easier to clean.

Casement windows are a popular element in French architecture and are often paired with colonial bars to enhance their visual appeal and architectural charm. These windows are well-known for their timeless elegance and can add a classic charm to any space, improving its overall aesthetic.

Louvre Window

There are two types of shutters: one with glass that can be opened and closed, and the other with aluminium material that serves as a fixed ventilation window with no hardware.

Glass Louvre Windows are a type of window that has horizontal glass panels. They are usually operated by a lever or crank mechanism, which helps to open and close the panels simultaneously.

Aluminium Louvre Windows feature horizontal slats made of aluminium which makes them highly durable and weather-resistant, making them suitable for use in both residential and commercial buildings

Window Wall Series

Window Wall is a popular design approach in modern architecture that considers windows as an essential part of the overall wall, rather than as separate elements. This innovative design technique allows architects to incorporate larger areas of glass into their designs, providing an abundance of natural light and views, while also improving the connection between the interior and exterior spaces. A typical Window Wall comprises large glass panels that are tightly integrated into the building's structure, providing excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.

This design is commonly found in commercial office buildings, high-rise residential, and contemporary architectural projects, lending a modern and open feel to the building's overall design.

Double Hung Window

The Australian double-hung window is an elegant and modern design that offers excellent performance benefits. It consists of two sashes that slide vertically and can be adjusted by lifting them up and down, providing great ventilation control and flexibility.

RS has two series of double-hung windows, RS83 and RS105. The difference is that the RS105 series is Thermally Broken, and there is a heat insulation strip in the middle to better reduce the heat transfer, which helps improve energy efficiency and indoor comfort levels.

Tilt&Turn Window

Tilt and turn windows are named so because they can be opened in two ways. They can be used as a casement window that opens inward, or they can be used as an inverted awning window that opens on the top. This type of window offers excellent ventilation control and flexibility, allowing occupants to regulate airflow according to their preferences. Furthermore, since they both open inward, they are a safer option for commercial projects situated on high floors.

Doors

Sliding Door

Sliding doors are a popular feature providing convenient access to outdoor spaces like patios, decks, or gardens. They comprise one or more large glass panels that slide horizontally along a track, ensuring smooth opening and closing without requiring swinging space. With stainless-steel tracks, sliding and pulling feel smoother, ensuring a seamless user experience.

RS Systems offers versatile options, including a 2-track, 2-panel single opening and a 2-track, 4-panel opposite opening, providing flexibility for various architectural needs and expanding design possibilities for projects.

Stack Door

Stack doors and sliding doors are similar in operation but differ in the number of tracks. Stack doors consist of three or more panels, which can be stacked on one side to create a spacious opening. When opened, the doors stack neatly on top of each other, providing a wide opening that maximizes natural light and ventilation while allowing easy access to outdoor areas. These doors are frequently used to connect indoor and outdoor spaces, such as terraces or gardens, where a large open space is desired.

Stack doors are highly valued in Australian architecture due to their versatility, aesthetic appeal, and practicality, making them a popular choice for both residential and commercial projects.

Hinged Door

Hinged doors are the most common type of flat doors that are found in buildings across Australia. These doors are connected to their frames using hinges, which allow them to open either inwards or outwards. Hinged doors can be installed for both internal and external openings as per the space requirement, as they are versatile and reliable, making them a fundamental element of Australian architecture. They are easy to operate and can be opened or closed with a simple push or pull. You can usually see these doors in residential laundry rooms, on balconies, and on the ground floors of commercial apartments.

Bifold Door

RS Windows' Bifold door is a perfect solution to create more space and offer a wider view.  It is a powerful addition to any space as it can form 90-degree corners without any columns.  The number of doors and opening directions can be customized according to the width of the space.

The unique design of these doors allows them to be entirely folded when opened, saving space while increasing ventilation and lighting. The doors feature a fully automatic latching function that locks with one pull and opens with one press and pull. This feature provides intimate protection and minimizes hidden dangers.

Lift&Slide Door

The Lift&Slide door is the most unique among all the doors in the RS range. It comes with added features that make it easier and smoother to operate. As compared to a regular sliding door, a lifting sliding door has a door that lifts slightly when closed and locks by turning the handle grip 180 degrees while retracting the pulleys. This door is best suited for designs with larger single sizes and fewer doors, although it still slides very smoothly.
